OnePlus’ Branding: Hit or Miss?
The company
uncovered the new logo on Weibo as well as its website.
It was initially confusing as to what was new from the outset. The logo looks similar
to the previous one, with a few minor tweaks.
For as far back
as six years, OnePlus’ marking has stayed reliable: same logo, same red&white
shading plan, same text styles, and so forth.
In a previous post
on the OnePlus community forums, Lau- vice president of OnePlus, reported that
the organization would switch up its image visual personality on March 18,
2020. As indicated by the post, the network individuals are learning this at
precisely the same time as OnePlus’ workers. Lau clarified this is on the
grounds that the network is a piece of the “family” and has the right to think
about this change simultaneously.
As the release
of this new logo clarifies the subtle changes that OnePlus included were
"The logo introduces a new curvilinear "1" that is easier to read while adjusting the weight of the logotype for better overall balance. The "+" in the surrounding box has also been enlarged and is now more prominent, in a nod to the OnePlus community, which has played a key role in the company's ongoing success."
The slightly different layer of paint comes as the organization prepares for the OnePlus eight
series. It's accepted that the dispatch could occur on April 15, so we're
without a doubt anticipating the new marking on these upcoming devices.
With the release
of this new logo, the questions everybody seems to ask is
What will it
bring for the company? Would it be successful? Is it for the release on the new
8 series?
Let’s hope this new brand identity receives
positive feedback from customers and success to the company.
